Description
1) Fancy dress contest - Who is the best dressed? The scariest?
2) Face paint - Paint their faces as a vampire, wolf, skeleton etc.
3) Create horror props using junk modelling, paper mache and paints.
4) The three activities above can be used if you're filming their own 'horror' sketches.
5) Apple bobbing - Deep box full of water and apples, using no hands, they must pick up an apple with their teeth.
6) Doughnuts on a string - String doughnuts on a string line, using no hands, they must eat the doughnut without dropping it.
7) Find the sweet - Hide a sweet in a layer of flour, they must find the sweet using their mouths.
8) Pumping carving - Craving pumpkins with scary faces, use glow in the dark paint for the inside or glow sticks.
9) Mummy races - Dress a child up in as much toilet roll as you can during the allocated time, then have a race to see who crosses the line first.
10) Creating apples - Using a stick to pierce the apple, then dunk it in melted chocolate or toffee and sprinkle with decorations.
Resources
1) Trophies for the winners.

3) Junk modelling, paint, newspapers, water, glue and a large bowl.
4) A recording device and some spooky music.
5) Apples, a deep box and water.
6) Doughnuts and string.
7) A tray, flour and jelly babies.
8) Pumpkins, knives, spoons, glow paint and brushes or glow sticks.
9) Toilet roll.
10) Apples, chocolate, decorations, sticks and a microwave or hob with a pan and spoon to melt the chocolate.
