Instructions

Aim of Game
To identify the item in the stocking without being able to see it.

Introduction
Ask the Ladybirds to sit in a circle. Explain to them that the Leader will put an item in the Christmas stocking and each Ladybird will get a chance to try and identify the item by feeling the stocking. The Ladybirds are not allowed to look inside the stocking.

Instructions
1. The Leader places an item in the stocking without the Ladybirds seeing what it is.
2. The Leader passes the stocking to one of the Ladybirds in the circle. The Ladybird feels the stocking on the outside and then guesses what it might be.
3. If the guess is incorrect, then the Ladybird passes it to the next Ladybird in the circle.
4. Continue until one of the Ladybird guesses correctly.
5. The Leader places a different item in the stocking again without any of the Ladybirds seeing what it is.
6. The game continues with the next Ladybird in the circle.
7. The stocking is passed around the circle until the item is guessed correctly by one of the Ladybirds.
8. Continue until all the items have been passed around in the stocking.
