Fairtrade Recipe – Fairtrade chocolate Rice Krispie and marshmallow cakes

Microwavable bowl
Spoons
Bun cases (6 large or 10 small)
100g Fairtrade milk chocolate broken/cut into very small pieces
40g Rice Krispies
25g mini marshmallows

Instructions

Introduction
This recipe makes six large or ten smaller cakes. Increase the ingredients pro-rata to make more cakes.

Instructions
1. Melt the chocolate using a microwave (if available) for ten seconds and stir. Repeat until melted or use a bain marie method - two bowls, with boiling water in the bottom one and chocolate in the top one.
2. Add the Rice Krispies and marshmallows to the melted chocolate and mix well.
3. Spoon the mix into bun cases.
4. Allow time for the chocolate to harden before serving. Putting the cakes in a fridge (if available) will set them quickly.
