Description

Beavers guess when a 'rat' will drop out of the end of a tube and hit with a bat.

Resources

Table tennis balls with ears and tail stuck on (to be the rats) - one per team.
Long tubes wide enough to fit the 'rats' down - one per team.
4 bats (e.g. table tennis bats).

Instructions

Beavers are in small groups (about 4-6 Beavers).
Take it in turn to try to 'splat the rat'.
One Beaver holds the tube.
One Beaver drops the 'rat' down the tube.
Another has the bat and tries to hit it as it comes out of the end of the tube before it hits the floor.
Swap round so Beavers have a few turns at each role.
