Description

Make easy but very amazing Dragon Eggs of various colours, that also happen to be edible.

Resources

Eggs: hard boiled and cooled.
Small freezer bags: one per egg
Food colouring: various colours

Instructions

Gently crack the egg with out removing any of the shell.
Rolling while pressing on a firm surface works well.
The more cracks you can make the better.

Place the egg into a bag and add a few drops of food colouring.
If using food colouring gel add a few drops of water.
Rub the bag to ensure that the egg is covered with food colouring.
Place in a fridge for 30min or more.
Remove egg from the fridge, rinse in clean water and pat dry.
Carefully remove the shell to reveal the marvellous pattern.

Try using different colours for each end for an even better affect.
Good idea to write names on the bags before putting in the eggs.
