Task to follow instructions, work together using rope to create shapes.

Resources

Rope - one for each circle
Blindfold for each person

Instructions

Have your group form a large circle. Tie the ends of a rope together and lay in it a circle in the middle of the group, close enough that each person can reach down and pick up the rope. Tell them they must create a shape – a square, triangle, pentagon, etc. If you have a very large group, divide them into teams and provide a rope for each team. Let them compete to see who forms a particular shape quickest.

Repeat the task with all but one (or a few) members of the team blindfolded. The seeing members will need to guide the others.

You could even repeat with everyone blindfolded - but first have them discuss how they would make the shapes, who would have certain tasks (who might even need to let go of the rope so others can pull it tight)
