A co-operative miming game taken from 'Games from Many Lands' (1972)

Instructions

Divide the players into 2 groups. One group are the OLD WOMEN of Tangle Tree Woods and the other group are the OLD MEN of Taangle Tree Woods. They take up opposite sides of the room.

The Old Men come over to the Old Women walking as though they are very old and stiff saying:

Old Men: "We are the Old Men of Tangle Tree Woods"
Old Women: "What can you do?"
Old Men: "We can do anything!"
Old Women: "Work away then"

The old men then start acting something as a group (already decided upon) e.g. gardening, sewing, washing, digging and the old women decide and call out what they think the old men are miming. Whe they hit on the right answer the Old Men run and the Old Women chase them. Any Old Men caught become Old Women.
