Resources

Spray bottle
Bleach
Water
Preloved dark or bright coloured clothing item
Leaves from your garden
Tarpaulin or drop cloth
Disposable gloves
Bucket of cold water
Washing powder

Instructions

The website link below has the instructions using rubber bands, however, you can use nature instead. Pick some leaves from the garden, or any nature item of your choice. Place on your chosen clothing item and spray your bleach mix.
Leave for 5 minutes and then hand wash immediately to stop the process of the bleach.

Hints
Do this activity outside on the grass
Before spraying on your real tie dying piece, practise with your spray bottle first to see how quickly your mixture comes out, how close you will need to hold the bottle to your clothing item and how to sweep your bottle from side to side as you spray
