Description

To complete the badge each Scout must either:

1. Take up a completely new hobby and keep a record of it for 3 months
or
2. Make a collection/study of objects and keep a record of it over a period of 3 months

Then each young person must prepare a video presentation on their hobby/collection and upload the presentation to your Scout Leader
The video should include things like; a description of the hobby, why the young person decided to take up this hobby, when they started the hobby, explanation of the details, demonstration etc.


Resources

Tablet, Mobile Phone or any other media device to record their video
Notebook or Word document to record study or record notes (Notebook is build into your computers Operating System)

Instructions

Once you decide and get started on your brand new hobby (collection or study), let your leadership team know what you're doing. If you have already started a completely new hobby, this can count as a completely new hobby and backdated up to the last two weeks. once your three month period is completed, your notes are up to date and your video is ready, upload and share your notes and video to the troop WhatsApp group.
