Cardboard

Shield Template

Instructions

Cardboard & Paint: Ask a grown-up to cut an old carboard box into a shield shape. Now you can paint the front with patterns and shapes to create your shield. Allow it to dry and then tape a couple of strips
of cardboard to the back to create handles. If you don’t have paint, then you could use coloured paper to decorate the shield instead. Paper & Pens: Print out the shield template page, or draw your own,
and then use colouring pens to design the perfect shield. Make sure it’s nice and colourful!

St George is the patron saint of England. Find out more about his story by watching ‘George and the Dragon’ by ‘Children Cinema’ on YouTube.

NOTES FOR PARENTS/CARERS:
