Description

A number game where opposing players try to tug their opponent to the end of the room.

Resources

Piece of rope.
I use a piece of climbing rope tied into a figure 8 using a firemans chair knot.

Any strong rope will do but it can be hard on delicate hands.

Instructions

Divide your group into pairs of similar size/ ability. Give each pair a number starting at one and going up in order. Split pairs to create two teams and stand them against opposing walls. Give each team a goal on opposing end walls.
Place the rope in the centre of the room.

Leader calls out a number. Players run to the centre of the room grab the rope and run to their goal. However the opposing player is trying to do the same. Players attempt to tug the rope and opposing player to their end of th room.

Players really need to listen and react quickly to grab the rope before their opponent.
