Turn an old t.shirt into a bag. NO SEWING!

Old t.shirt
Scissors
Pen or tailors chalk (something to draw a faint guide line on the t.shirt)

Instructions

1. Get old t.shirt.
2. Cut off the arms.
3. Cut around the neck line.
4. Turn t.shirt inside out.
5. Think about how deep you want your bag.
6. Draw a line to show where you want the bottom of the bag to be. Bear in mind that you need about 10cm of t.shirt under the line.
7. Cut slits (roughly 1.5/2cm apart) from the bottom of the t.shirt to the line. Cut through both sides of the t.shirt at the same time so that strips of material are opposite each other. (The bottom of the t.shirt now has a fringe).
8. Take opposite strips one at a time and tie a knot in them until all strips are tied.
9. Turn t.shirt the right way round and ta da, you now have a bag!
