Go on a Virtual Hike on Google Earth.

Computer using Google Earth (website) or Smartphone using Google Earth app.

This can either be done independently to explore somewhere new, or it can be done via a shared screen on a videoconferencing meeting for a group hike.

Instructions

- Start Google Earth
- Go to the "Voyager" menu
- Click on the "Street view" tab
- Select "Great Hikes Around the Earth"

Then, pick a location to start hiking!

You will get a little bit of information about the place picked, and then you can walk along the chosen route (usually in both directions) with 360 degree views.
