Description

This part of the Master at Arms badge, with respect to archery, can be explored at home.

The rules for safety in archery are clearly laid out by the primary governing bodies that organise archery within England.

Resources

A computer, that can be used to search the internet.

Instructions

Download the shooting rules from ArcheryGB and the IFAA:

ArcheryGB publishes a set of shooting rules, which include safety:
https://www.archerygb.org/about-us-structure-safeguard/about-us/the-rules-of-shooting/

The IFAA also publishes rules, which include some notes on safety:
http://www.ifaa-archery.org/index.php/documents/rules/ifaa-book-of-rules-2019

Compare the two. What differences are there between the safety rules for each.

On the internet, search for the websites of a selection of archery clubs. Note the affiliation (e.g., EFAA, ArcheryGB, etc.) of each club you look at. What do the sites you have selected have to say on safety, and how do they differ between different club affiliations?

From your research, make a presentation (poster or similar) that covers safety rules for archery. Explain the role of a line captain, and how he communicates to archers.
