This is a great way to get the young people active and help them burn off some excess energy in this spin on captains coming.

Instructions

Firstly explain the different actions to the young people and let them practice each one. Then similar to captains coming have the young people running around the room and then shout one of the names of a minibeast to them. Keep going until you've shouted out all the minibeast's names at least once.

Challenge your kids to:
WORM - lie on the ground and wriggle like a worm
BUTTERFLY - flap their arms like a butterfly flutters its wings
SPIDER - put their hands on the floor and scuttle about like a spider
CRICKET - do some giant leaps like a cricket
WOODLOUSE - crawl on the floor then curl up into a ball like a woodlouse
CATERPILLAR - join together in groups of 3 or 4 to make a caterpillar (hands on hips of the one in front)
