Here's a game that we played with our Beavers on zoom the other night that seemed to go down quite well.

I called it Spy Messenger Mission.

Basically they are sent on mini 'missions' to deliver a message that they must remember and repeat back to you.

The message gets longer after every mission.

1. Tell the Beavers the first part of the message e.g. Meet at midnight.

2. Send them on their mission e.g. climb a mountain up and down the stairs

3. When they are all back ask them to tell you what the message was (all together on the count of 3)

4. Add the next phrase to the message e.g. Meet at midnight, outside the castle.

and send them on their next mission e.g. sneak to the front door and back without being seen.

5. When they are all back ask them again to tell you what the message was (all together on the count of 3)

Repeat with different missions adding an extra phrase to the message each time.

We had 9 parts in all with the final message being:

Meet at midnight - outside the castle. - Bring a torch
- hidden in a banana. - The secret call is Ka-Ka, Ka-Ka. (loud parrot squawk) - Tea will be spaghetti and meatballs. - Don't sneeze. - The moat is full of crocodiles; - you'll need a hovercraft.

Obviously you can make up your own.

Our missions were things like: hang on a ladder underneath a helicopter once round the garden and back,

crawl through a tunnel round the room you are in, swim to the bathroom and back etc.
