Instructions

In small groups go through the photos and get the young people to identify the different aircraft. Talk about the unusual ones:
- Airship - filled with Hydrogen which is lighter than air but is unfortunately very flammable
- Glider has no engine - so how does it take off (winch or tow)
- Spitfire and Lancaster Bomber from WWII compared to fighters and bombers of today
- Concorde - everyone's favourite aeroplane.
