Resources

Autumn debris (twigs, leaves, seeds, bark, moss). Collection bags. Sheet of plain card each (inside of cereal box will do). PVA glue. Camera

Instructions

Children collect autumn debris in a bag. Each child has a sheet of card on which to assemble an animal using what they have collected. (hedgehog, squirrel, rabbit, butterfly, dragonfly, bird work well). Photograph results. Permanent creations can be created by asking them to remove bits while you squeeze thin lines of PVA glue directly onto card. Children can then reassemble to allow them to keep their creation.
