Description

Transfer a known amount of water along something. Measure the amount at the end. Either along a pipe whilst everyone holding it. Or egg cups. Can be used as a competition between groups. Can be made easy or really difficult. In a line, or team blindfolded and get the water to flow in a pipe up a hill or steps. Or can used inside with a pipe and marble.

Resources

A known amount of water, a collecting container. Use food colouring in the container to compare between groups the level at the end. Pipe, egg cups yogurt pots. Possible 5ltr container (empty clear screen wash bottle).

Instructions

Get team to hold transfer method, pipe, cups, yoghurt pots. One pours water in one end and water transferred along the chain / pipe. Can be social distanced if long pipe used.
