Description

At the Highland Games, the Farmer's Dash event sees competitors walking as far as they can carrying two heavy weights. To make sure we've got some energy left we're going to run a relay race instead.

Split out from 'Indoor Highland Games' activity.

Resources

* Two 'weights' for each lodge e.g bottles of squash
* Rope/chalk to mark start line
* Cones/chairs to mark end of course

Instructions

* Beavers line up in lodges
* First Beaver picks up the weights and runs to the end of the course and back and puts them down on the start line for the next Beaver
* First lodge with all Beavers back wins
