Description

A game designed to help Cubs learn each others names when there is a large intake of new Cubs. It's a good start to the night for the Cubs, as it allows them to burn off steam; and can be played outside at a social distance. It also avoids touching the ball.

Resources

At least one football - possibly more to make the game more complicated.

Instructions

Cubs stand socially distanced in a circle facing inwards
One Cub starts with the football and says the name of another Cub. They then have to kick the ball to that Cub.
If that Cub gets the name wrong or it is a really bad shot (i.e they miss / send it to the wrong Cub), then they have to run around the outside of the circle (at a distance from the other Cubs).
If the other Cub misses the ball being passed to them then they have to run around the circle too.
You can add in extra balls to make it harder.
