Description

Scouts will work in groups to make a short news report on a Scout related story of their choice. They can either use a real story or make something up (within reason).

Resources

Laptop to show example videos.
Pens & Pencils
Paper
Device to record videos on

Instructions

1. Explain that each group will work together to make their own news report on a Scout related story.
2. Show the group the example new reports and suggest some ideas for stories.
3. Get each group to create a "storyboard" to plan there report & allocate roles (cameraman, editor, presenter, interviewer etc,)
4. Give the group time to record their report
