A clear night!

Instructions

This can be done individually at home or planned to be carried out by the unit during an evening meeting in winter.
Check the dates and recommended constellations of the current campaign at Globe at Night. Dates are usually when there is no Moon in the early evening sky and the time is usually one or two hours after sunset.
Look for that constellation and compare what you see in the sky to sky-maps with different levels of light pollution.
Report the level of light pollution on the website.
