Description

Scouts get given grid reference to a local chippy, they then have to plot a route, get it checked then set off to the chippy, purchase 2 portions of chips and return back to base, quickest team wins.

Rules: No running - adult helper goes with to check for cheating, also no delivery.
Everything else is permitted.
None of mine thought outside the box to use their phone to google the takeaway and phone ahead to minimise waiting time.

We also ran through map features to help and how to spot shortcuts, and equipment needed (coats and good boots as it was chucking it down).
