Description

Draw 10 countries’ flags and then fix these to some string (or a strip of paper) to create your own brilliant bunting.

Resources

Paper, colouring pens, string, scissors, sellotape.

(Optional: images of flags or a way to look them up - if virtual Scouting then search engines will be available)

Instructions

Each Scout gets 10 bits of paper (paper size A4 or smaller), string and colouring pencils. (Virtual Scouting Live: Scouts to bring these to a virtual meeting themselves)

Scouts to look up (or draw from memory!) a flag on each piece of paper. Once they're complete, they tape them to the string to make international bunting.

Optional extra for Virtual Scouting Live: Spotlight Scouts one at a time (tell them first) so they can show the flag they're colouring - other Scouts to try and guess which country it is for before they finish!
