Instructions

Play area is a big circle with a chimney at each end. About 10m away is the team's sleigh full of
presents (balls). On each side of playing area is Santa's Grotto and Rudolph's lair (jails).
Dividing the play area in 2 is a line across the centre of the circle.

Aim:
Deliver as many presents down the chimney at the other end of the play area as possible in a
given time or until all are delivered. At the same time, stop the opposition delivering presents.

Intro:
Santa and Rudolph had fallen out. Big time. Rudolph has set up a competing delivery service.

Make it happen.
Split Cubs into 2 teams, paint one with white beards and the other with red noses.

Rules:
No rugby tackling
Must be tagged below the neck and above the waist
Only one present can be carried at a time
The attacking Cub can only be tagged in the oppositions half
You only tag if you haven't got a ball
You can only be tagged if you have got a ball
The present must be visible in your hand at all times. No carrying in your pocket or hiding In
your beard
When tagged, they must go straight back to their base: Rudolphs back to their lair, Santas back
to their grotto. Any presents carried at that point must be given to the leader on the base who
will get it back to that team's sleigh.
Throwing presents between Cubs is fine but NOT after they have been tagged
You can to only be released from your base by a team colleague, back into the game.
Area will be marked out with builders semi permanent spray paint

Leaders:
Monitor chimney (2) - keep an eye on presents going down the chimney and defence tactics
Base monitor (2) - ensure captured Cubs are released properly
Present runners (2) - to move present from captured Cubs back to the sleigh
Boundary line monitors (4) - to watch for Cubs running outside play area
