Paper chain dolls to be decorated as Ladybirds, Brownies, Guides and Senior Branch

Resources

Paper or Template attached, 1 per Guide.
Scissors
Colouring Supplies

Instructions

Accordion fold a piece of approx. A5 paper to make 4 panels.
Draw a figure on the first panel with hands extending to each edge or use the template attached.
Cut out all four layers of paper at the same time around your figure making sure to not cut through the hands joining each panel.
Carefully unfold and decorate each figure in the uniform of one of the Irish Girl Guide Branches; Ladybird, Brownie, Guide and Senior Branch.
The Branch name can also be added to each doll.
Using a longer strip of paper would allow 6 panels to include the Leader Uniform and Trefoil Guild.

This activity is used in the Pathfinder Trifold Display Poster but can also be used as a stand-alone activity.
Glue your paper dolls to the the Trifold Display. They can be glued on flat or glue the centre 2 dolls back to back and the end dolls to the Display so that the centre dolls can be folded back and forth revealing different Branches.
