Better with teams 5. If you have a few more than 10 players us the extras as substitutes. If
Setup
Divide the Scouts into two teams of five and give them team names.
I used the names: ‘The Oddballs’ and ‘The Even Stevens.
We now get the player names from the sum of two dice when they are rolled together.
Player Names of ‘The Oddballs’ are, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 (Captain).
Player Names of ‘The Even Stevens’ are, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 (Captain).

How to play
Kick-off started when referee, number 1, rolls two dice.
The total number that is rolled is the first person to roll their two dice, so they do just that. (each person gets one roll of the dice when it is their turn)
If they roll the number of somebody on their team it is a pass.
If they roll the number of somebody on the other team it is a tackle.
If they roll two sixes, they have scored a goal. When a goal is scored go back to the referee
The next person rolls the dice and follows the same rules.
