Instructions

Have the Guides colour in the mini-book. Learning about and discussing the Promise, Logo and Motto as they colour.

Then cut along the dotted lines. For easy access to cut the centre line, fold the book in half widthwise.
While folded widthwise, accordion fold either side of the centre fold.
Open out all folds.
Then fold lengthwise.
Holding the two ends back to back, encourage the centre pages to pop out to either side, so that you have 4 leaves in the shape of a cross.
Find the front page, with the IGG Logo, fold all the other leaves in behind.
If desired, glue can be added to maintain the structure.

This activity is part of the Pathfinder - Becoming a Guide Trifold Poster Display. It can also be used as a standalone activity.
To add to your Trifold Display Poster: glue a cardboard pocket to the display to store your Mini-Book.
