Valentine's Wreath

Resources

- love heart templates on strong card (you can reuse cardboard boxes here), one for each Ladybird
- coloured wool
- small rectangular blank cards for gift tags
- pencils
- hole punch

Instructions

- Give each Ladybird their own cardboard template.
- Let the Ladybirds decide what colour they want to use to decorate their wreath. This does not have to be limited to one colour.
- Let the Ladybirds wrap the wool around the template in their own style.
- You can have the gift tags pre-punched whilst the Ladybirds are decorating.
- When the Ladybirds have finished wrapping their hearts with wool, let them write a message or a special person’s name on the gift tag.
- Using a small piece of wool, attach the gift tag to the heart and you have a finished handcrafted gift for someone special.
