- coloured paper

- print-out of different flags from different countries

Instructions

• Ask the Ladybirds to draw out their hands on different coloured paper and cut them out. If it is safe to do so, you could let the
Ladybirds swap their hands to ensure that their wreath is inclusive and contains every Ladybird’s hand.
• Ask the Ladybirds to place their cut-out hands in a circle to create a wreath. Glue one hand on top of another to ensure the wreath is complete.
• Ask the Ladybirds to cut out their mini flags and to glue a flag onto each hand.
• When all the wreaths are complete, ask the Ladybirds if they recognise any of the flags and if they can say something about that country. Make sure you have some facts ready about the countries that you have selected.
