Valentine's Family Tree

Resources

- an A4 white card, one for each Ladybird
- multiple sheets of brown, pink & red paper
- pencils
- scissors
- Pritt Stick
- heart stencils (optional)

Instructions

• Giving each Ladybird a piece of card, ask them to write their name on the back of their card.
• Give each Ladybird a sheet of brown, red and pink paper.
• Show the Ladybirds that they can make their tree, however they wish it to be; it can be as thick or as thin, or as tall or as small as they like.
• You can pass around stencils or you can let the Ladybirds make their own love hearts.
• The Ladybirds will have to glue their tree to the card first and then glue on their hearts as leaves on the tree.
• When they have finished gluing everything to the page, they can write the names of the people who they love on their hearts.
• The most important step here is to recycle any leftover paper in the recycling bin.
