Campfire Pancakes

Ingredients:
cup of white flour (sieved if possible)
cup of milk
1 large egg
cooking oil
caster sugar and lemon juice (optional)
jam (optional)

Materials:
mixing bowl
whisk (or two forks held together, slightly apart)
non-stick frying pan

Instructions

Instructions:

(Leaders will be required as the pan gets very hot!)

• Mix all the ingredients into a bowl and whisk them.
• Heat a little oil on a non-stick frying pan.
• When oil is hot, add some of the mixture, turning the pan to distribute the mixture.
• As soon as the mixture is solid, turn the pancake over to cook it on the other side.
• Serve the pancakes straight from pan, with caster sugar and lemon or jam. Yummmmy!


For fun, keep one pancake back to practice your pancake flipping when the frying pan has cooled down. Enjoy!
