Description

patrols build a tripod to be used as a goal
2 patrols play "basketball" against each other to try and hit or knock down opponents tripod
If you have a big enough space 3 or more patrols could play against each other at the same time. This is good as you see teams with fewer points develop tactics to team up against patrol who is winning,

Resources

1 lashing length per patrol
3 scout staves or broom handles per patrol (broom handles are much cheaper)

Instructions

Patrols build a tripod and set it out as a goal.

Patrols then pass ball between each other similar to basketball and try and hit opponents tripod

Scouts defending a tripod are not allowed within 1m of tripod

1 point scored if tripod hit and 3 points if tripod is knocked down
