The old backwoods favourite of minced beef parcels
100g minced beef , 1 medium potato 1/2 small onion, 2 carrots, other veg. as desired per person, seasoning, cooking foil. Peelers, chopping boards, sharp knives.
Finely chop the onion, peel and chop the carrot and potato and any other veg. you're using(the smaller the better for the vegetables). Make an open bag out of a piece of foil about 30cm long, ensuring its well sealed. Put the mince and veg. into the foil bag and season with salt, pepper and about a quarter if an oxo cube (chicken or vegetable) add a few drops of water or a knob of butter, seal the bag, wrap in another piece of foil and cook in the embers of the fire for 40 minutes to an hour (depending on the size of your veg. chunks.) Remove carefully and eat.
