Socially distanced knots for Beavers

Description
Beavers learn how to tie simple knots in a big way!
Resources
5m rope for each 2 Beavers.
Hula hoop for each 2 Beavers.
Instructions
Beavers work in pairs.
Stand them at markers opposite each other - markers about 3m apart.
Piece of rope already in place stretched out between the 2 markers so they can each take hold of an end of it.
Hula hoop at one marker.
By moving one at a time over and under the rope they can tie a simple over and under knot.
Next have one of each pair hold the hula hoop with outstretched arms.
The other is to tie a lanyard hitch - sanitise the end of the rope held by the other Beaver before starting.
Sanitise the whole rope and the hoop then swap places and repeat.
You can find pictures of the lanyard hitch by Googling - don't mix up a Lanyard hitch with a Lanyard knot - the knot wouldn't be possible in this big style with Beavers!!
