Description

Demonstrate the correct setup, lighting, extinguishing, and packing away procedures for the use of a Tranja.
Allow the scouts working in small groups of 2 or 3 to setup and boil water in order to make a warm drink of their choosing.

Instructions

Demonstrate the safe setup of a tranja.
Demonstrate the safe lighting of a tranja and how to place the right equipment together to boil water.
Ask questions of the scouts to see if they can identify the risks using the equipment.
All the scouts to setup the equipment and light their Tranjas to make a warm drink.
Ensure that they understand the safe handling and use of the grips to remove the pans safely.
