Aim of Badge
One of the targets of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 is to ensure that people everywhere have the relevant information and awareness for sustainable development and lifestyles in harmony with nature by 2030. There are 6 activities in this badge. Activity 1 is compulsory. Complete any three of the remaining parts 2-6.
Introduction
Activity No. 4: A board game to learn about using plastic more economically and help the girls understand the role they can play to help the environment in a fun, enjoyable way.
Instructions
As this game is designed to be convenient, the aim of the game is to go around the board as many times in the time agreed by the players. This game is suitable for weekly meetings because of its adjustability to account for different available times. All players start on the start circle. Once the die is rolled, the player moves that amount of spaces. If the player lands on a chance space they must take a chance card and follow the instructions on the back, afterwards returning it to the bottom of the pile. Every time someone passes over the start square, they earn a point. At the end of the time, the Brownie with the most points wins.
