Description

As part as the ongoing Cubs Mini Olympics, events will move to the field for long jump, shot putt and football.

Resources

Footbal, goal, water balloons, marker, measuring tapes.

Instructions

First up will be the standing long jump. Each of the members of the sixer will have three attempts to make the longest jump. Standing long jump requires take off from a fixed from a two footed start.

Second up will be the Shot Putt. Each member of the sixer will have two throws to get their longest distance...however the 'shot' is a water balloon! The members of the opposing sixer will all stand on the field. Any water balloon that hits an opposing sixer will be void.

Lastly we will have a penalty shootout. Each sixer will give to their young leader the order of penalty taker and opposing goalkeeper. Theis will be done in secret so their can be no unfair match ups.
First round each sixer rotate in their order to take a penalty. Round 2 sees the sixer take a penalty in the same order...except before taking the penalty they have to spin around a cone 10 times first.
