The leaders/ parent helpers all come armed with 1 knot each, and 1 lashing (need at least 6 knots and 4 lashings) and spread themselves in a circle around the room.

Instructions

The scouts go around the first time and learn how to do the knots, and the 2nd time show that they know how to do the knot. Then repeat with the lashings.
