Scavenger Hunt to find various different types of leaves/trees

Bag for each lodge/six, Printed resource sheet from Woodland Trust

Instructions

Split pack into sixes. Provide the activity sheets and a bag. Let them run wild for 10 minutes! Collect everyone back together to score each six before presenting results back to the leaders. Leaders then announce the overall winner.

Variation 1:
Give each Six a Leaf Dial and the 2nd Leaf Hunt Sheet, go for a walk in the local woods and get the Cubs to see how many leaves they can find and identify as they find them they can tick them off

Variation 2:
While on a walk in the woods the Cubs have to try & see how many leaves & trees they can tick off the list

Variation 3 :
Send Sixes to find as many different types of leaves from trees as they can, then see if they can name them. Once back let them identify with resource sheets....who got the most/most correct!
