Description
Names game - Quickfire! - This game will help Ladybirds and Leaders to remember each other’s names. If you have enough adults, it’s a good idea to have an adult on each team to make sure everyone gets a turn to step forward. If it is not possible, the adults holding the sheet might each keep an eye on a team.
Resources
Ladybird garden sheet/ sheet which is not see-through
Instructions
1. Divide the Ladybirds into two equal teams.
2. Two Leaders should hold up the sheet so that the team cannot see each other.
3. One Leader calls out “Step Forward”.
4. One Ladybird from each group steps up to about a metre behind the sheet.
5. The Leaders then drop the sheet.
6. The first Ladybird to say the first name of the Ladybird opposite her wins that person onto their team.
This game can be timed and the team with the most people on their side wins, or it can end when one team wins all the other team members.
