Repeat the variation but offer them paper or straws or similar for them to see if they can create new solutions to improve their distance

Candles, lighters, drinking straws, tubes funnels similar.

Instructions

have a candle per patrol and set a short distance. if each member can extinguish the candle, increase the distance. keep increasing until the candle cannot be blown out.
