Campfire Damper (Campfire Bread)

- Mixing bowl

- Chopping board
- Skewers or sticks
- Nutella or jam to put inside cooked bread, if desired

Instructions

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of self-raising flour and a little extra for rolling dough
- 1 tsp of sugar
- 1 tbsp of butter
- ½ cup of milk
- A pinch of salt


1. Rub the butter through the flour until it is all crumbly.
2. Mix the salt, sugar, and a little milk at a time until it forms dough.
3. Divide the dough into two pieces and roll each piece into a snake shape. Use a little extra flour to prevent the dough from sticking, Wind the piece around a clean skewer or stick.
4. Hold the stick over the campfire to cook the dough. Make sure the sticks are long enough to prevent anyone burning their hands.
