Trick or Treat Game

Resources

- Large piece of cardboard
- Toilet roll tubes cut in half
- Orange crepe paper
- Small pieces of paper
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Labels
- Marker
- Green piece of felt paper

Instructions

1. Take the piece of cardboard and write “Trick or Treat” at the top.
2. Then take the halves toilet roll tubes – the number required will depend on the number of Guides and whether you want one per girl or to draw names of girls out of hat.
3. Place a piece of paper inside with a treat or a trick written on it that the Guide must complete.
4. Cover the tube in orange crepe paper and tuck it into the tube.
5. Use a glue gun to secure the tube to the large piece of cardboard.
6. Do this for all the pieces to form the shape of a pumpkin.
7. Then add the labels and randomly number the pieces.
8. In turn, the Guides pick a number and receive either the trick or the treat.

Other Ideas:
This could be used alongside another activity, for example, if you get a question right or win a race, you get to pick a number.
This activity could be made in different shapes such as Christmas tree with seasonal treats or activities written on the pieces of paper inside the tubes.
