Instructions

Explain various calls/signals for the section using the more experienced cubs to demonstrate:
1) Leader shouts "Pack! Pack! Pack!" - All cubs gather into a circle around the caller and shout "Pack!" once their together.
2) Leader shouts "Pack Alert!" - All cubs stand to attention with an upright posture, their feet together, and arms down by their sides.
3) Leader says "Pack at Ease" - All cubs stand in a more relaxed posture, feet wider and hands together behind their back.
4) Leader Raises their hand - All cubs should raise their hand also and stay still/silent.

Practice 1:
Do the above mentioned calls/signals with the whole section:
1) For "Pack! Pack! Pack!" have the cubs walking around the hall pretending to be busy before making the call. Can be timed for a little more fun i.e. see how long it takes them to form a circle.
2) For "Pack Alert!" and "Pack at Ease" these can be done on and off a few times once their all in a circle. Go fast/slow when transitioning between these two calls for a little more fun.
3) For silence/still signal (hand raised) have the cubs start talking loudly and moving around before raising a hand.

Practice 2:
1) Split the cubs into groups and either appoint a leader for each group or elect a cub as a leader for the activity.
2) Ask each group to practice the commands in their groups the same way they did in 'Practice 1'

Test:
Let each group demonstrate how well they can do each activity, Choose a winner and if their time, let them have another go each.
