playing cards

Instructions

split troop into 4 corners - run the following tasks

1. a4 paper challenge - 4 sheets per group/1 scissors

2. tarp folder - how many times with them all on the tarp - tarp per group

3. common sense challenge - In venture room - printed sheets per person

4. how many nails can you balance on one nail.,

5. cream cracker and whistle in a minute (If time filler needed)

frying pan challenge -30mins

leaders hang bag of choclate coins from the rafters with string.
scouts to use knot work and poles to attach to frying pan with a candle in pan to burn string.
another frying pan contraption used to catch the coins
if coins land on the floor and not in a pan they belong to the leaders




crystals awarded for each successful challenge.

each team has then to complete the final challenge. 5 seconds per crystal handed over - flying 52 card pickup with playing cards. each group need to collect either hearts, clubs diamonds or spades. deduct points for incorrect cards. teams go on whistle. (i.e 5 seconds for each crystal earned)

prize awarded to winning team - pack of chewits each
