Description

This experiment is short and sweet. A great way to play games such as spotlight.

Resources

Straws – ideally plastic so it can squish over and over.
2025 batteries (the ones for watches)
LED lights (something similar to this: https://www.jaycar.co.nz/green-10mm-led-100mcd-round-diffused/p/ZD0205 ) you need the 2 prongs to make contact with the battery.

Instructions

How to:

Cut the straws long enough to fit the battery and the led light. The girls will be holding it at the battery.

Slice a hole to ‘slot’ the battery in. If it doesn’t fit snug you might need to use some electrical tape.

Slide the LED light down so it connects with the battery so that when you press the prongs to the battery the LED light turns on.
