Description

Fold paper and cut out sections to make snowflakes. Attach ribbon to hang or in a string of snowflakes.

Resources

White paper - at least one per child
Circular objects (plate, CD, saucers) (optional - or cut to squares)
Scissors
To hang: ribbon and glue/stapler

Instructions

1. Draw circles on the paper using the plates
2. Cut out the circles
3. Fold circles in half, then again to quarter.
4. Fold once more to make a narrow triangle
5. Cut into the edges (both sides) of the folded triangle to make cutout designs in the snowflake, being careful not to cut completely in half.
