Description

Make a Christmas tree decoration out of the cardboard insides of a loo roll or kitchen towel.
Add an electric tealight to make it a lantern - you could also cut out more shapes so that the light shines through.
Make lots to create a Christmas forest!

Resources

Cardboard roll (loo roll or kitchen roll inners)
Safe scissors
Pen/pencil to mark the shape to cut
Pens/pencils/paints for colouring
Glitter/stickers/fake snow for decoration (optional)
Electric tea light (optional)

Instructions

1. Flatten the cardboard roll
2. Mark out a tree shape with pen/pencil, with a tree stump and a solid base at the bottom so that it stands up. [Important that the base remains connected on both sides!]
3. Decorate as you wish!
4. (Optional) Add the electric tea light to make it a lantern.
